Cognition and Concept Awareness

A child's cognition and concept awareness includes their:-        
  • understanding and knowledge, 
  • ability to think and reason, 
  • ability to solve problems
  • ability to remember routines, people and objects,
  • understanding of specific concepts, such as, open/closed, big/little, front/back, hot/cold, left/right, etc
  • ability to recognise and identify shapes, letters and numbers.
