Eye-Spy Mazes!
Eye-Spy Mazes is a fun and engaging maze resource designed for parents, teachers, and occupational therapists to support children’s visual perceptual, executive functioning, and fine motor skills.
Children draw through graded mazes while identifying and counting hidden picture or letter cues placed along the pathway. This interactive format encourages active visual scanning, problem solving, and pencil control while keeping learning playful and motivating.
The activities support key developmental skills including:
- Visual perception and visual motor integration
- Eye–hand coordination and pencil control
- Visual discrimination, figure ground, and visual memory
- Spatial awareness and directional concepts
- Planning, sequencing, problem solving, and flexible thinking
With 29 picture mazes and 52 alphabet maze pages of varying difficulty levels, Eye-Spy Mazes provides hidden opportunities to strengthen foundational learning skills through play-based challenges. The resource uses NSW Foundation Font and can also support letter recognition and visual comparison for children using other fonts.
